The GuildCraft Prairie Collection carpets are based on
carefully-researched motifs from original Prairie School designers such as
Wright collaborator
George Niedecken.
The carpets are fashioned of the
finest handspun New Zealand wool and vegetable or mineral dyes,
hand-knotted in India by master craftspeople using centuries-old
techniques passed down and perfected over generations. Each carpet
is individually handmade and may have slight variations befitting a
hand-crafted work. These variations should not be considered a flaw,
but a desirable mark of a handcrafted product; they contribute to
each rug’s uniqueness and individual charm. We are proud to have a
part in continuing this fine artistic tradition.
Made to order in any size, including
runners, and RUGMARK-certified
free of child labor. Custom colors also available. Click on the designs below to view a larger image

NOTE: In order to avoid any potential intellectual
property issues, the design formerly known as "Robie" has been renamed
"Woodlawn", and the "Dana" is now "Springfield".
